Modo de Preparo

I’m a straight up fool over the Thin Mint cookies from the Girl Scouts.  It’s always the first box I buy when those cute little children start hawking their sweet boxes of deliciousness.  ?

And y’all know about my passion for all things Oreos.  Now, I’ve not been bowled over by all the crazy Oreo flavors they’ve launched recently.  That is, until, I met the Oreo Thins.  I’ll admit, I love the Oreo cream so I was fully prepared to hate the Thins.  But there’s something about the crispy crunch they have that I just love.

Then they launched the Mint Oreo Thins.  Sweet gracious, these things are incredible.

Two ingredients are all you need to make your very own Thin Mint copycats!

Often times at the holidays, we’ll do chocolate dipped Oreos as easy sweet treats to give and to have on hand for gatherings.  So, planning our annual Christmas candy making, I got to thinking about dipping those delicious little Oreo Thins in chocolate.  Then I got to thinking about the mint ones.  Y’all.  Y’all!  These babies taste just like a Thin Mint.  Just. Like. Them.

Two ingredients are all you need to make your very own Thin Mint copycats!

They’re so easy, only require two ingredients, and everyone in my family went bonkers over them. If you’re looking for something simple to add to your cookie platter this year,  I’ve got you covered right here.  Y’all enjoy!

Prep time
Total time
Ingredients
  • 1 (10.1-ounce) package Mint Flavor Oreo Thins
  • 1 (24-ounce) package chocolate flavored almond bark
Instructions
  1. Melt the almond bark according to the package directions. Dip the Oreo Thins in the chocolate to coat them. Use a fork to retrieve them and tap off the excess chocolate on the side of the bowl. Place them on wax paper to cool. Once cooled and hardened, remove them from the wax paper and store in an airtight container.
Notes
You many not end up using all of the chocolate almond bark, but it’s much easier to dip the cookies with the entire amount.
